Allowed to

Both children and youngsters learn fast and do well, when they realise why they should.
Therefore it's up to educators to get them in 'the topic'. And it's so easy! Classrooms are full of human beings who can hear, think, understand, read and speak. If they can hear, why not talk to them? If they can think, why not make them do so? If they can understand, why not explain them why this or that is important? If they can read, why not advice them some texts? If they can speak, please allow them to!

  1. I totally agree with your statement about the fact that children and youngsters learn fast and do well, when they realize why they should.
It's often this "why" that is absent from classes, thus leading to total failure.
I have always tried to keep the "why" present in my teaching practice and do not regret doing so.
